SUPERNORMAL is a three day, experimental arts and music festival at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire. SUPERNORMAL offers a platform for artists, performers and musicians to work collaboratively and creatively, incorporating new methods and mediums into their work for a new kind of audience. SUPERNORMAL presents an innovative weekend of art-focused practice in unfamiliar settings where both impromptu and timetabled events can surprise and delight.
SUPERNORMAL is a collaborative and experimental event drawing inspiration from its unique setting and its readiness to embrace art and music outside of the mainstream. SUPERNORMAL is unique because it is determinedly small and intimate and has been born from a place that values the currency of ideas and imagination rather than commercialism and profit.
SUPERNORMAL is organised on a collective and unpaid basis by artists and musicians who share the aims and ethos of this truly alternative festival, and could not take place without their passion and generosity.
SUPERNORMAL is an intimate event for an exclusive audience of five hundred, allowing the exploration of the unspoilt and extraordinary grounds of Braziers Park; an eco-site with fresh running water, eco toilets and hot outdoor showers with a wooded camping area.

Background
SUPERNORMAL is an evolution of BIAW (Braziers International Artists Workshop), an artists’ collective which started in 1995 that works in a multi-disciplinary way with artists from around the world. The focus remains firmly rooted in art, environment and pushing boundaries, embracing difference whilst celebrating common cause. SUPERNORMAL is intended to give the arts a far wider audience and artists a greater challenge than the usual artists residency it follows.
