  • Takedown and clear up: Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th August all day. You shall work closely with core team to take down the festival and clear up the site.

Supernormal is organised by a small, friendly team and supported by enthusiastic volunteers who help bring it all together. We need help to run the event and clear it all away again afterwards. We truly appreciate the contribution volunteers make and in return we aim to provide a highly enjoyable experience and an insight into how a festival takes shape.

Great communication, flexibility and team spirit are required for all roles!

Dealing with festival guests and artist arrivals, you will be managing guest lists to issue wristbands and handling cash as well as providing information about the festival and site. As the first point of contact for arrivals, a friendly, calm and welcoming manner is essential.

To pick up and drop off artists, making occasional runs throughout the day and enjoying the festival in between. Must provide own vehicle but mileage will be paid. A cushy way to earn yourself a free festival ticket, if you can survive some time sober. You need a full UK driving licence and required paperwork for your vehicle.

To help out with general organisational tasks and all manner of odd jobs across the site as they arise throughout the weekend providing vital assistance to the crew and production team.

Managing artists merchandise and a small village shop including stock and cash handling, dealing with artists, record keeping as well as communicating with audiences.

Music/tech volunteers assist the sound crew getting acts and equipment on and off stage on time to ensure the smooth running of performance areas.

Providing information to audience and artists throughout the site, and looking after areas including the car park, house, campsite, and out of bounds areas. Confident communication required.

Attendants are required to manage the toilets (mainly eco composting toilets) around the site; to re-stock, clean, and tidy as well as maintaining the outdoor showers and water points. This is not a ‘dirty’ job!

Responsible people to keep the wood burners for showers lit during busy times in the morning and evening and make sure the bonfires are well stocked with firewood.

You get to enjoy the festival weekend, then stay on site to help with the take down and clear up of the site. You will need to be available all day Monday & Tuesday following the festival. This is a physical role, so be prepared to be energetic and get stuck in after a weekend of frivolities. All meals will be provided during takedown.
